Daniel Karlin, MD

Dr. Daniel Karlin is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Palliative Medicine at University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). He completed his Internal Medicine / Pediatrics training at UCLA followed by Hospice and Palliative Medicine fellowship at University of California San Diego (UCSD). He’s a Los Angeles native, passionate about all things communication related, and wishes he could better remember all those antibiotic regimens from residency.
Christine Pham, PharmD, BCIDP

Dr. Christine Pham is one of the antimicrobial stewardship / infectious diseases pharmacy leads at UCLA. She is continuously engaged in University of California wide antimicrobial stewardship and education outreach initiatives. Christine served as the 2021-2022 lead of the UC System-Wide ASP Collaborative. Her Bruin life has come full circle as a former undergraduate alumni and fledgling UCLA care extended at where she now works.
Daisuke Furukawa, MD

Dr. Daisuke Furukawa is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases at Stanford University. He completed residency at Cedars Sinai Medical Center followed by ID fellowship at UCLA. He has a passion for antimicrobial stewardship, and his current clinical and research focus is primarily in orthopedic infectious diseases.
