Alexandra Mendelsohn, MD

Dr. Alex Mendelsohn is a current psychiatry resident at Dell Medical School at University of Texas Austin. She completed medical school at Tufts in Boston, MA.
Alysse Wurcel, MD, MS, FIDSA

Dr. Alysse Wurcel just moved to Boston Medical Center where she is in the Division of General Internal Medicine and the Division of Infectious Diseases. She did internal medicine residency at Massachusetts General Hospital followed by ID fellowship at Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital and Tufts Medical Center. In addition to her work as an inpatient ID doctor, Dr. Wurcel has an outpatient clinic where she specializes in HIV, HCV and substance use disorder care. Dr. Wurcel provides HIV and HCV care at five county jails in eastern MA. She is an NIH and AHRQ-funded health services researchers interested in the barriers and facilitators to care for treatment and prevention of infections in people who use drugs, people who are incarcerated and people with HIV.
