Hussam Tabaja, MD
Dr. Hussam Tabaja is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Public Health, Infectious Diseases and Occupational Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester. Dr. Tabaja graduated from medical school in American University of Beirut. He then completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the Detroit Medical Center/Wayne State University. Following that, he moved to Rochester Minnesota where he completed a 3-year Infectious Diseases Fellowship at the Mayo Clinic. His clinical research is focused on hardware-associated infections including both cardiovascular device infection and orthopedic device infection.
Supavit Chesdachai, MD (Mac)
Dr. Mac Chesdachai is an Assistant Professor of Medicine within the Division of Public Health, Infectious Diseases and Occupational Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester. He earned his medical degree from Mahidol University in Thailand. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Minnesota, followed by an Infectious Diseases Fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester. His clinical and research interests include cardiovascular infections and infections in solid organ transplant recipients.
Daniel DeSimone, MD (Dan)
Dr. Daniel DeSimone is a Consultant and Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Public Health, Infectious Diseases and Occupational Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester. He also holds a joint appointment in the Department of Cardiovascular Diseases. He has chaired/vice-chaired several American Heart Association scientific statements in cardiovascular infectious diseases. His clinical and research interests focus on the prevention, diagnosis and management of infective endocarditis, cardiac implantable electronic device infections, and vascular graft infections.
