ID Chalk Talk Project

The call for submissions for the ID Chalk Talk Project will be open this cycle through Oct 17th!  The specific chalk talk submission page is available here

  • ID Chalk Talks are brief teaching scripts with corresponding visuals for ID teaching with learners across the spectrum (students to fellows) in the clinical setting. ID Chalk Talk submissions will be peer-reviewed by members of IDSA’s Teaching and Learning Resources workgroup and, if accepted, will be published through the IDSA Med Ed COP for open access use under a creative commons license.
  • The purpose of the ID Chalk Talk project is to curate a repository of common teaching topics that ID educators can quickly access and easily utilize to teach in busy clinical settings. In this way, we aim to promote scholarly teaching and disseminate high-quality teaching materials within our field.
