Arthur Jackson

Arthur is a Consultant in Infectious Diseases and General Medicine based in Cork, Ireland. He is part of the general internal medicine service, provides oversight to the Antimicrobial Stewardship committee, and is the clinical lead for the Outpatient Parenteral Antimicrobial Therapy program. He provides consultation service for inpatients with respect to general ID, antimicrobial management, HIV, and other diseases. He graduated with a medical degree from Trinity College in Dublin in 2001. His specialist training included two years in Malawi, running clinical trials in the area of cryptococcal meningitis. He followed that with a year of clinical fellowship at University of North Carolina Chapel Hill.
